This is a great little flash light. I absolutely love the pocketable size and the magnetic switch/base. It's really easy to hang it from a lanyard attached to a belt loop and yank it off to turn it on. Its convenient for the light to be magnetic too, so you can stick it to things to free your hands. Charging works great and it's sweet you don't have to remember to pack a cable or anything, it's all just right there and ready.

My goodness! This little sucker is brighter than I expected. The magnets lock together with such force that accidentally dislodging the light is unlikely. I chose green anodizing because it sets off the gold accents quite splendidly, like Eddie Bauer with a Rolex. And the charging nubbin is part of the design, how poetic. Don't change a thing.

As with other people commenting here, I'm a flashaholic... But I didn't expect to like the mn103 as much as I do. Unlike other flashlights nowadays, it doesn't have a dozen intensity settings. It's strictly on or off, with a more than adequate 160 lumens brightness.

The mn103 eliminates the need to fumble for a power button or twist the flashlight head. You just pull the lightbulb portion away from its magnetic base -- instant light. A powerful magnetic connection of the two parts turns off the light. Recharging the battery is a simple matter of plugging the opposite end into a USB-A port. A tiny pinpoint of light on the hull turns from red to green when fully charged.

I bought the orange Poleshine, figuring it would be easier to find when digging it out of a pouch or bag. But it finally struck me that its optimum habitat really was being attached to a belt loop with the vestigial spring-operated D-ring provided... So I got a second one in the less obtrusive black color.
